Lead business development initiatives on target accounts,
Hands on experience in core implementation GST product suite of ClearTax
Input into development of new market opportunities locally and nationally with an opportunity to lead the market development of the new ideas
Conduct research on tax issues and tax legislation
Liaise with tax authorities on client inquiries or issues
Prepare refund claims and submissions for tax recoveries to clients or government bodies
Proactively take relevant and valuable tax ideas to clients to grow the practice

Desired Candidate Profile
CA with 7 to 10 years of experience in Indirect Tax which includes VAT, Goods and Services Tax, Sales Tax, Business Tax and similar transaction taxes.
Consulting and compliance indirect tax experience is needed; experience in dealing with indirect tax in accounting / ERP systems is desirable.
A proven track record with handling indirect tax issues, regulations, disputes, audits and rulings is preferred.
Excellent research skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills required
Strong project management, coordination and presentation skills required.
Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness
Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership
