Category Manager - GST

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities - 

- Lead business side of products to scale through high impact programs executed 

- Identify the business opportunities for adoption and revenue

- Identify key features in the product needed for better adoption-work with PMs to get that integrated

- Work with inside sales team for premium subscription selling

- Work with retention team to increase usage per business partner

- Interface with marketing team to build campaigns for outreach

- Identify and onboard influencer business partnerships

- Keep a sharp eye on competition analysis and tracking

Desired Profile

- Must be a self starter, Results-oriented team player who leads by example, holds self accountable for performance, takes absolute ownership, and champions all aspects of initiatives

- Strong experience in internet industry

- Led sales functions big/small to build revenue

- Entrepreneurial experience is a big plus

- Demonstrated ability to create and execute on a successful business development strategy 

- Demonstrated competence in establishing successful partnerships - can structure, negotiate, and close high-profile deals independently

- Strong familiarity with SaaS space

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making, and comfort with financial and operational analysis

- Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold strategic vision

- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability make things happen quickly with partners

- Strong bias for action; the ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment

- Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
