We also help individuals make smart decisions about investing and tax saving, and our experts assist startups with incorporation and other tax compliance.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can continue the high growth charter of consumers (100% YoY growth), develop the monetization strategy and drive its implementation. Our intent is to serve 5 Million consumers and have a meaningful role in the financials lives of at least 30% of this base within the next 1-2 years.
- This is a very exciting consumer fin-tech role with millions of users. We have a fantastic opportunity to create significant impact on the financial lives of consumers. The role encompasses all axis -- strategy, implementation, product, delivery, creativity.
- The role would require the leader to demonstrate high ownership levels and be able to influence decisions not directly under his/her purview. Should be able to conceptualize strategy independently and do zero base implementation. In addition, the leader is expected to demonstrate the following.
- In-depth problem solving ability. Is able to attack a new, unstructured, ambiguous area, bring clarity, distill a sharp problem statement, generate options, test them quickly & cheaply and setup implementation.
- Is able to see the big picture and is simultaneously detail oriented. Should be able to pull back to an abstract level across topics, timeline and strategize at the big picture level while also getting into minute details iteratively to develop a robust, practical and tested plan.
- Should be able to deal with inherited problems & challenges by owning the status quo and devising solutions for them.
- Should be able to represent ClearTax independently with senior level external relations/partnerships and drive relationships to achieve intended outcomes.
- Start up and/or new business experience is critical with a demonstrated ability to hustle on ground as a high performing individual contributor in absence of team; frugality, innovativeness, rapid prototyping, phased implementation etc are qualities we expect this leader to bring to this role.
- Should be a team leader of highest order by demonstrating strong people manager skills, ability to manage & diffuse challenging inter-personal situations and thinking through career roadmaps of team; should favor growing talent vs. laterally building.
